Three Bands.

One Beat.

One Celebration!

The Purple Pride Marching Band was proud to be one of three bands featured at Richmond County’s annual Title I Celebration, held at Cross Creek High School!

The event brought families, students, educators, and community members together for an evening filled with helpful information, resources, and plenty of music. With a fantastic turnout, parents had the opportunity to learn more about the programs and support available to students and families throughout Richmond County.

Music was a big part of the celebration and a wonderful opportunity to showcase the strength of fine arts education in our schools. Purple Pride performed alongside the Cross Creek High School Band and the Hephzibah High School Band, with Hephzibah’s middle school musicians joining them for the occasion.

And, of course, you can’t put three marching bands in one place without a little friendly competition! The bands turned up the energy with a spirited band battle, giving the crowd plenty to cheer about while each program showed off its own sound, style, and school pride.

It was a great evening of music, community, and celebration, and PPMB was excited to be part of it. Events like this are a reminder that fine arts programs do much more than put on a performance. They give students opportunities to build their skills, represent their schools, and connect with the community through music.

Three bands. One beat. One great celebration!
